Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. She became known in Australia with the role of Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap drama Neighbors during a hundred episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. Her first project that she worked on in Hollywood was a choral comedy called Hollywood & Wine, where she played an actress, who was newly arrived in Hollywood. She then landed a role as Maya who is a stunning medical student in Scrubs' ninth season. But the show abruptly ended. Then, she went on to make the Farrelly brothers comedy named Good to Shoot. It was co-starred by Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Thereafter the actress appeared in short series films, as well as B-Series movies. The year 2013 was when she was discovered to a wider audience. After having appeared in six episodes of the crime drama Franklin and Bash and landing her first regular part in the webseries Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia, the actress got a number of new projects. She is also Chad Michael Murray's answer to the first two seasons. In the following year, she played in supporting parts for two films featuring aircraft scenes.
