Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. Her mother is English half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish and English descendance. Her mother has Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one at each one of their parents' prior marriages. They lived within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being ordered to move schools. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and participated in drama productions. She quit the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
