Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She became a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Sheryl was born and brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She was a child who spent a lot of time caring for her younger sibling Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. She faced a lot of issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl claimed that at one point her mother had stabbed one of the parents to her son due to the fact that she was too close to the father. Sheryl joined the military upon her graduation from college. However, her interests lay in the field of comedy. She was selected as the first ever female finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992, when she became a regular participant in the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She appeared on Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. She is currently a co-host on Talk Talk since 2011. In addition, she has played a fictional character in shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
