Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its first season, became America's Sweetheart. Her win was not only hugely successful, but it earned the singer a contract to record several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records. In the years since, she's released a number of studio albums. From these that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just one centimeter away. She is among the most popular artists who have emerged from American Idol. She was a bit flimsy as she found success with various themes and musical styles, often writing the songs herself. Due to her distinctness and ability as a singer her work was recognized by critics and won a few important prizes. The most notable accomplishment was that she received the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her singing career, she also has had a stint in TV and film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is her book for children. Additionally, she has been involved in charitable work and different organizations.
